Therapy That Feels Real, Honest, and Useful

Approach

Hi, I'm Lencsi Angel. I pronounce my name like "Lenchie" and use she/her pronouns.

I help individuals and couples navigate life's transitional, relational, intimate, and emotional storms. Life is hard and relationships take work but we are not built to do it alone. If you feel stuck and are ready for meaningful change, we can figure it together.

Therapy with me is an active, collaborative partnership that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. I show up with authenticity, genuine warmth, useful directness, a good sense of humor, and a deep commitment to my clients. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel safe to be your true self, while also being challenged to grow. That means I will offer honest feedback and practical guidance. I strive to help you gain insight, heal underlying wounds, build new skills, and move toward a more connected, authentic and fulfilling life.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and provide culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming care.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or repeating patterns that no longer serve you, having dedicated time and space with a caring, unbiased person can make a meaningful difference. You don't have to be in crisis to seek therapy—sometimes it's simply about wanting more clarity, stronger relationships, or a healthier way forward. I offer free 20-minute phone consultations to see if we're a good fit.

What can I expect in the first session?

Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to change, and we’ll begin identifying next steps. Sessions are available in-person in my Seattle office or via telehealth anywhere in WA state.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Some clients come for focused, short-term work, while others seek deeper, long-term support. Together, we will identify your goals and regularly revisit them to ensure that therapy continues to feel intentional, useful, and valuable.

Do you accept insurance? What are the fees?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly.
My rates are $200 for a 50-minute session.
Some insurance plans with out-of-network benefits will often reimburse your session cost. I can provide documentation for you to submit a claim to their insurance company for possible full or partial reimbursement.
